Cultural diversity is much like biodiversity in that it studies the different aspects of each group of species/culture and how they relate to one another. In both studies there are dangers that impede the growth and sustainability of each species/culture that have lasting effects on the land in which they inhabit. I do feel that the government should be involved in protecting cultural diversity because without their help, smaller cultures will fail to keep their diversity against large populations of a different culture. I feel that it is very important to sustain the cultural diversity of nations because people will have better connections with their history and way of life that can be shared for generations. If a cultural group diminishes, it would be hard to carry on their teachings without having living representations. Cultural diversity is an aspect of a nation that should rely on their community and government in order to help preserve cultures.

I think it is really interesting that Norway has just two main different cultures, that makes them unique. I also think that is is really important that we keep cultures diverse and very present because they is what makes us who we are, it helps to establish our morals, values and beliefs. I like that you tied it back to the native Americans here in the United States. That is a good example on how it is important to assimilate to an extend, and to be able to adapt but still keeping your own cultures and beliefs, and i agree that the government sometimes has to be involved to obtain this.

I found it very interesting that Norway has actual diversity, that is something I never really thought of other countries being so diverse like the Unnited States. I also like the example you gave about Native Americans, it is true that without the protections of their lands they might have not been here anymore. I never really ever thought about how protecting other cultures be so important and actually be in active control.

Wow, great job! I love how you use the comparrison to the United States and the Native Americans. I never really thought of Norway as being culturally diverse so it is cool to hear about the two different backgrounds in Norway. Great work!
